Everything we create begins with a desire to understand what lies beneath the surface.
Our work moves between memory, mythology and material. We look to Swedish landscapes, folklore and forgotten histories, tracing the ways garments have been worn, transformed and passed through time. These references become part of our design language, translated through silhouette, texture and construction rather than told literally. We work with materials that already hold a history, sourcing deadstock fabrics from Italian and French luxury houses and allowing their qualities to guide the process.
BJERSBORN is a universe in constant evolution. Each garment carries fragments of a larger narrative, connected through recurring symbols, unexpected contrasts and a dialogue between the delicate and the untamed. Every release adds another layer to this world, building on what came before while leaving room for what has yet to emerge.
This space is an invitation to look closer. Here, we share the research, references and experiments behind our work — the stories, images, materials and ideas that shape the universe of BJERSBORN. It is an ongoing archive of our process, growing alongside the garments themselves.
We believe in making with intention. Working with deadstock and certified fabrics, prioritising considered material choices and producing in limited quantities, we seek to create garments that exist beyond the moment they are introduced. Pieces that acquire character through wear, reveal new qualities over time and become part of the life of the person wearing them.
BJERSBORN is not a finished statement, but a body of work unfolding over time. A world built slowly, through material, memory and transformation.
Thank you for being here and for becoming part of it.
Love,
BJERSBORN

History of Patrol Jackets
Archival photography allows us to observe history as it once appeared. Within these images, the Hussars emerge as figures of both discipline and visual distinction. Their uniforms, marked by color and precision, signaled status and identity, worn with confidence in everyday settings as well as in combat.
The Hussars originated in Hungary, where their role as light cavalry shaped both their tactics and appearance. Over time, their influence spread far beyond their place of origin, through direct service in Hungarian regiments and through the wider adoption of their military methods and dress by armies across Europe and beyond. Their legacy remains visible in military history and uniform design today...
